This year the Mental Health Awareness Centre (MHAC) at Queen’s University is bringing One Brave Night to Queens on Sunday, March 31, 2019 at 1 PM – 3 PM. One Brave Night for Mental Health is a virtual campaign run by the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) each year to help raise money and awareness of the intersectionality between mental health and addiction. Our overarching theme for our event is to discuss empathy: what is it, how it can be fostered, how it can help in strengthening our respective interpersonal connections, and providing empathy for loved ones as well as oneself. We’ll be running a variety of workshops and activities regarding stigma of mental health along with self reflection and support!
This will be a relaxed, intimate, comfortable and cozy time to come out, meet cool people and learn more about mental health!
This event will include dinner and snacks so please fill out our registration form! https://tinyurl.com/registrationformMHAC
