Students For Barrier Free Access University of Toronto – American Sign Language 101 – Class Sign Up
Interested learning American Sign Language and Deaf Culture? This course is brought to you by Lesbians, Gays, Bisexuals, and Trans People of the University of Toronto (LGBTOUT), Students for Barrier-Free Access (SBA), the Association for Part-Time Students (APUS), and the Arts and Science Students’ Union (ASSU). This course will focus on ASL basics, an introduction to Deaf Culture, and social justice signs.

Classes will be Tuesdays from 4pm – 6pm, starting on September 26th. Classes are free and will run for eight weeks. We prioritize Queer, Trans and Two-Spirit, Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour applications and applications from Deaf and hard-of-hearing identified people.
